[salon]718 has revamped their education program to the needs of the brightest minds that we are looking to add to our family. Our educators have considered the needs and desires of our future stylists and will be executing our new education program this fall.
Karina, our Location manager/education advisor, and coach believes consistency is key. Our new education program will have a more defined structure and approach for students and new educators to follow. “This program will prepare future stylists for behind the chair and help them gain the confidence to grow their clientele professionally.”
Christine, our Location manager/color director, believes in the importance of teamwork. “The best part about our program is that we have all our team members teaching, which creates a strong unity within the company.” The combination of these new educational elements creates a solid curriculum that sets up our students for nothing less than absolute success behind the chair.
Kegan, a level I stylist, entered the [salon]718 education program with 2 years of experience behind the chair. With her familiarity with cutting and coloring, Kegan was able to learn from our associate program that there is always room to grow. “Not only did I get to hone in on the details behind beginner and advanced level styling and coloring, but we also touched on everything from formulating to head shape to consultation.” Through the [salon]718 education program, Kegan was able to improve on every aspect of being a stylist, including her mental health. “No matter what level in your career you are, the education program at [salon]718 is the best in Brooklyn!”
Education is an important part of [salon]718’s ethos. Our goal is to ensure our newest talent have access to the impeccable resources they’ll need to flourish. Follow their progression on our education Instagram @salon718education!
