Who else’s sleep schedule isn’t what it used to be? I know mine isn’t! I wanted to share a quick step by step to a refresh before the next Zoom meeting (or date!) on your schedule.
Remember to always start with a clean face. Moisturizer is key, I am loving the Too Cool for School Egg Mellow Cream. You don’t have to use both foundation and concealer, one or the other is fine, depending on what coverage you like. I enjoy Lancome Teint Idol and use it as both foundation & concealer. Your (and I cannot stress this enough) CLEAN fingers are a great tool for self-application and blending.
Juicy cheeks will make you look fresh in a flash, I love a pop of color from a cream blush like the Lip + Cheek by Milk Makeup or Clinique Cheek Chubby Sticks. Want to be super glowy? Add a little more moisturizer over your blush/on your cheekbones to really capture the light.
For eyes, I like to keep it pretty simple with a great all-around palette, like the Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam. Using a brown or taupe shade in the crease and then adding a pop of metallic gold or bronze on the lid. A well-groomed brow shapes the face and adds extra polish, I kept it simple with a Dip Brow gel from ABH and finished with a coat of Mascara like Milani Highly Rated 10-in-1 Volume Mascara.
For lips I used Maybelline Baby Lips Moisturizing Lip Balm, Quenched and then topped it with Kiko Velvet Matte Lipstick, but you could easily just use your cream blush on the lips as well.
Finish of your look with a quick spritz of Pureology 21 spray, it adds shine, eliminates frizz and smooths the hair. It’s pretty much a miracle.
Lastly remember to have fun applying your makeup! It doesn’t have to be perfect, it just has to be something YOU like.
